Online Appraisal CE Courses
New! Mandatory CE Requirement: Seven hour fair housing course.
Beginning January 1, 2026, a Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations course will be required for Continuing Education.
The first time a Licensee completes the Continuing Education requirement for this course, the course length must be 7 hours. Every 2 calendar years thereafter, the course length must be at least 4 hours.
To complete the requirement, click on the link: 7- Hr. Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations. The appraisal board will accept this course for satisfying the new requirement.
When completed, save the certificate of completion, and submit it to the Real Estate Appraiser Board.
You will still complete 28 hours of continuing education, but they must include the new 7-Hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations.
In other words, your 28-hour CE requirement will be 7-Hour USPAP (mandatory); 7-Hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws and Regulations (mandatory); and 14 hours of elective topics.
